Prerequisite(s): All core mathematics courses in Alabama must have as a minimum prerequisite high school Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II with an appropriate mathematics placement score. An alternative to this is that the student should successfully pass with a C or higher (S if taken as pass/fail) Intermediate College Algebra. This course is intended to give an overview of topics in finite mathematics together with their applications, and is taken primarily be students who are not majoring in science, engineering, commerce, or mathematics (i.e., students who are not required to take Calculus). This course will draw on and significantly enhance the student's arithmetic and algebraic skills. The course includes sets, counting, permutations, combinations, basic probability (including Baye's Theorem), and introduction to statistics (including work with Binomial Distributions and Normal Distributions), matrices and their applications to Markov chains and decision theory. Additional topics may include symbolic logic, linear models, linear programming, the simplex method and applications.
What our students are saying:
I love this app! I have tons of homework and it helps me get it done quickly. This app is AMAZING!!! And I love that when you ask a question it stays anonymous, which makes my mom happy :)
This has helped so much with my homework and studying for tests. Thought it wasn't going to work but it's wonderful and they not only give the answer but explain to you how to do it.
This has to be the BEST math help you can get!!! They’re fast and you'll get help right away! Never heard about an app that is as good as this one! I am really recommending it!
Got it! is great for anyone who needs help with math. It's simple and easy to use, and it’s almost always correct. I absolutely love it!
I’ve learned so much from got it! experts. What I mostly like about this app is when you ask a question they will answer you within 10 minutes. It’s so fast and helpful. I don’t know what I’d do without it!
