This mathematics course is designed to introduce students to research in the area of mathematics education. Topics include cognitive aspects of Algebra learning, technological considerations, curriculum development, and the future of mathematics education. Students practice effective teaching, data gathering and report generation on a regular basis. Word processing and spreadsheeting software use is required (Graphing calculator required.) Instructional Hours: 3 Laboratory Hours: As Assigned Prerequisite: MAT105; MAT210
